Sometimes you can disable things like additional shaders, but this adds extra steps and complicates the process somewhat. For example, let’s say that you find a texture pack you really like, but it comes with a shader and other features that you aren’t a fan of, or maybe you have a specific shader you prefer over all others. If anything, we personally prefer to have texture packs and shaders completely separate, because it allows for an extra level of customizability to our Minecraft experience. We don’t see the lack of included shaders as a bad thing, however.
This is because the texture pack we’ll be discussing today is all about bringing as much Star Wars content to Minecraft as possible in the forms of theme-specific textures as well as entire 3D models for things like TIE fighters, sith lords, lightsabers, stormtroopers, and many more. In the past, we’ve covered Minecraft shaders that include new and improved or otherwise updated textures, however, in this particular Star Wars resource pack for Minecraft, we won’t actually be looking at any new shaders.
